LLC Project "Roll Out" Revealed!

Good morning everyone!
It's time for the reveal! And here it is....
LLC's Bumblebee transformers card!

This card was a birthday card order from Nurul Izza for her hubby, Nazmi, who's a big fan of Bumblebee.

For this card, we wanted to make it more 3D-ish, as in making it pop out from the card. So, we duplicated certain parts of Bumblebee and mounted it on foam tapes in order to get the effect we wanted. There was a whole lot of huffing & puffing while doing the cutting & slicing as the Bumblebee parts are quite a challenge to cut. *phewh* Alvin (aka Sue's hubby) also helped us out a lot in getting the card done. Thank you, Abin! :) In the end, we managed to get it done the way we imagined it to be, yippee!

We managed to get a pic of the birthday boy with his Bumblebee card hehe. Here's the lucky guy with his card!

Happy Birthday, Nazmi! :)

That's all for now, but do keep tuning in for our next LLC Project sneak peeks! Coming soon!

LLC Projects

Hi everyone! How's everyone doing?

To share some interesting news to all of you, Sue & I have received several card orders which we find pretty interesting & err..verry challenging! It's something we've not done before. It's a teeeeny bit overwhelming for us to see such requests but we're grateful to be given the opportunity & it's an honor to make such cards! Let me give you some hints of what will we be doing… On one card, there’ll be a lot of masculinity going on, the theme is from a very famous science fiction action film based on a toy line (those of you who grew up in the 80s would have watched the cartoon series on TV) and…on the other card…there’ll be a lot of feminity going on. With blings and glam! Think Sex & the City theme!

We shall share our journey of making these special cards with you! (*eyelash batting*) So do drop by our blog to see our progress! ;) The cardmaking journey will begin this weekend! So you’ll be seeing Sue & I…”rolling out” and about, putting our creative juices at work. Keep your fingers crossed that we won’t go rolling in the deep (love that song, by the way) at the end of it all, haha!

Til then, have a great day!

August Featured Card Maker

Howdy peeps!  We had a little hiccups last Monday so we couldn't get this posting out in time.  Sorry for this.

Anyway, we have our August Featured Card Maker with us this month.  With pleasure, we introduce to you our dear friend, Shuk Jon Pui, or June as we dearly call her :).  June is an Account Executive working with an oil and gas company in town.  Apart from crafting, she loves travelling amongst other things.  And she said that one of her favourite weekend routine is to chill out at Starbucks sipping Cafe Mocha with friends every Friday nights :).

June started making cards when she was just about 18 years old.  Her favourite colour to play with is pink, and she loves to include ribbons and laces in her creations.  Check out her creations below.  They will be available at the store for you to grab ;).

Such darling cards, aren't they?  Hehe.  Give us a shout if you're interested in her cards or wants to know more about her :).

Happy Wednesday and Happy Crafting!

Something New & Discount Week

It's almost the end of Monday.  Did you all have a good weekend?  I know I did.  I posted in my FB status that I had a new and fun experience creating with Evonne last Friday night.  Yup!  We had a blast!  Hehe.

We had a Wall Clock Decorating session.  Hehe!  We were quite anxious about it prior to that night but we nailed it in the end.  And the result?  Extremely happy :).

Evonne bought the clock from Super Save (local discount store).  It was a plain black clock with red inner background; numberings and pointers are also black.  With just a few embellishments, glitters, and added with a short Bible scripture, we managed to transform the clock into a super cool looking "manly" clock.  Haha!  We didn't want to add some more embellish because it's meant to be given to a guy for his birthday gift so we decided less is more.  Actually, we almost added a few things but my hubby came by our table and saw what's going on and said this "..what? you ladies adding butterflies to the clock?!  Heck no!"  So yea...we put the butterflies aside.  Haha!

Anyway, without further ado, here's our first try on decorating a Wall Clock.  Leave us a comment and tell us what you think ya :).

At the same time, we are having DISCOUNT WEEK at the Store.  Discounts starts at 20% above.  So hop in to the Store and make your purchase :).

Till then, Happy Shopping and Happy Crafting folks!

And yes, I am posting 3 cards today following Card Patterns weekly challenge.  Phew!  Still catching my breath from all the catching ups.

Card Patterns Weekly Challenge # 122 & # 123

Hi there peeps!  Yes, we are posting 2 Weekly Challenges today because we're waaay behind.  They are doing Weekly Challenge # 126 now!!  *biting fingers*

So for Weekly Challenge # 122, I made a very simple Congratulations card below.  This card was actually made out of leftover patterned papers that I used to make the card for Weekly Challenge # 123.  Confused?  Haha!  Don't's just the way we work sometimes.

I used the Weekly Challenge # 123 to make another Congratulation card ordered for a promotion.  I love the outcome of this card and was almost hesitant to give it away.  Haha!  So I made another copy of it to give as a Congratulation card for a couple who got married last weekend.  Hehe!

By the way, LLC's Online Store is going to have another Discount Week soon so look out for our next updates ;).

Happy Wednesday peeps!

Monthly Crafting - #2

Hi everyone! It's August already??! Yikes! We're so sorry that we're a couple days late for the monthly crafting which we promised on 30th of each month. Well, better late than never right!'s my craft which I did several months back, actually and never got it's appearance til today! Yippee. It's an altered clock. Well, actually there's a story behind this clock. This poor thing had quite a fall (I didn't hook it properly onto the wall..tsk tsk), and it cracked it's head (sounds like Humpty Dumpty hehe)..and the glass which covered its face broke into pieces. I thought that was the last I saw of that clock and it's fate was to be in the dumpster. However, I found out that it was still ticking after the fall (it's ALIVE!!) and decided to give the fella a second chance, hehe. With my creative juices in motion, I patched up the crack with flowers and some lace and added a sticker with a wonderful message, which has never failed to give me that great reminder, every time I look at the time. ;) Well, enough of my story-telling, here are some pictures of my altered clock. Enjoy!

That's all from me! Have a great & blessed day ahead!
