Weekly Challenge # 23

Hi everyone, we're so sorry that we've gone missing in action for the past two weeks! Oh dear!

We've been pretty busy preparing for Christmas and finshing up with our work before we hit it off for the holidays! Whooh! And more so for Sue, who'll be on maternity leave for the next 2 months as she'll be delivering her first born...anytime soon! Am so excited for her...and a lil' nervous as well! But I can't wait to be an aunty!! hehe. Yay! So I guess, I'll be "flying solo" on this blog for a while til Sue is back on her crafty hands... and you guys won't be seeing her creations for the next month or so...sob..sob. I'm gonna miss her a lot. :'(

Anyways, the show must go on... and here are our last creations for the year 2009! Our theme for this week is Polka dots!

Sue used a polka dot ribbon and a strip of polka dot paper to fit in the theme. Aren't her Santas adorable? :) Hehe.. As for my card, I made this for a very sweet & simple girl. An order from a friend who wants to give it to his girlfriend...heheh. I decked my Christmas tree with lil' punched love shapes and used a pink polka dot paper as my background. :)

So I guess that's all from us this year! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all for your support, encouragement and most of all, your love. Thank you all so much! This year has been such a wonderful journey especially the start this blog and the chance to share our creations with all of you. :)

Last but not least, have a merry & blessed Christmas everyone & a Happy New Year 2010! May you be filled with the peace, joy & love of the season. God bless all! :)

Weekly Challenge # 21

Greetings from Live-Love-Craft again everyone! We're coming to year end soon now so we still have a few Challenges for 2009:p!

This time around, Evonne and I have selected the theme Black & White as our weekly challenge. I don't have any particular inspiration that I based on when I made my card - I just carved out some flower patterns from a patterned paper I printed quite a long time ago...added some clear stamped leaves and little flowers on it, some glitter, and lastly the wording sentiment to complete it. I like the end result - simple and nice:p. As for Evonne, the card was inspired by the dog that kept on coming in to her house compound recently. It's a black & white dog and she and her housemate Vic, have named him Doggie..haha! I especially love the lace ribbon she used...can you see the dog paw printed on it? What a cute card and what a cute inspiration! Hehehe!

So, till the next Weekly Challenge, take care and God bless:p!

Weekly Challenge # 19

Hi everyone!
It's December already (!)..wow the year end is closing in sooo fast! I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend. :)

Our challenge this time was to use the "rip or torn" paper effect on our cards. Yup, we had fun ripping away our papers..hehee.. Sue made a lovely birthday card using pastel patterned papers. She ripped those papers as well as the cirlce "happy birthday" sentiment and top it off with a red flower & a love brad. :) As for my card, I was already in the Christmas mood while making this one. ;) I ripped the white paper to give a rugged hill effect on my card, gave my Christmas tree red ornaments and hand wrote "Merry Christmas".

That's all for now. Have a great & blessed day ahead! It's a wet one here in Miri this mornin'...brrrrr..
