Live well. Laugh often. Love much.

Sometimes life has a funny way of sneaking up on you and throw you off your tracks..without any warning whatsoever! We end up shocked, a little disheveled & somewhat puzzled. However, we must never lose our focus and drive. We brush the dust off our clothes and get back up. We learn the lesson and strive to be better!

Sue & I went through an episode..a little something that life threw at us, lately. We learned the lesson (a bitter pill to swallow, in fact) but will not look back (and not in anger too, because no good will come from it). We will keep going forward & keep our focus towards our goal!

Yes, we have a "thing" that's coming your way soon! We're super excited, anxious & a little nervous about this "thing", haha.

We shall announce it pretty soon! :)

Til then, I'll leave you with this lovely reminder...

And oh, it's almosssst November!! Here's to another great month! Cheers!

Much love,
Evonne & Susan

Shake it like a polaroid picture!

Hey ya!

It's Fri-yay!! (yes, I live for the weekends..LOL!)

So, it was Susan's birthday 2 Fridays ago. We had a great time celebrating at a new restaurant in town and chilling out at a local bistro. We had the pleasure of watching a group of sape players perform. It was really nice to have dinner while being serenaded by the soothing sounds of the sape!

For Sue's birthday, I decided to make her a shaker card. It was my first time making this type of card. I had lots of fun making it especially playing around with the embellishments..the bling-blings, buttons & felt flower! And of course, the most fun part was shaking it..shake it, shake it like a polaroid picture! (*cue the "Hey ya" song, haha!)

Here it is!

The inside of the card...

Have a great weekend..time to shake off all those worries & to-do lists..and just simply enjoy the weekend! ;)

Much love,

Called to serve

Today I am sharing with you a handmade card that I made a couple of months ago. It was an order made by a church member and a loyal customer of ours, to congratulate our newly ordained priest as he begins his service in the Sacred Ministry.

I decided to go with purple, black & white as the colour theme..and tried to be as simple as possible. Trying very hard to keep it 'clean' haha! it is!

A close up of the sentiment...

Thanks for stopping by! Have a blessed day!

Much love,
